Terms & Conditions for Consigners

The Nitty Gritty

Exclusivity - Pieces must be exclusively consigned with The Green Pear for the 8 week period, we request they are not listed on other resale platforms such as Ebay, Depop or Marketplace & not collected prior to the 8 week period.

Condition - during initial consignment if items are found to be unclean or have faults ie; marks, stains, holes & missing buttons, they will be put aside until the end of the consignment period for return to the consigner. 

Subsequent consignments - pieces brought in for consignment during an existing consignment period will be added to your account within 7 days. Please log on to your account after this time to view your updated inventory.

Payouts - payments may be requested any time during the consignment period using the Form on our website &  payouts will be transferred the following Wednesday. If you do not request an interim payout, you will receive your payout in full at the end of your consignment period.

Store Credit - you can use your sales as Store Credit at any time.

Sales & Discounts - pieces may be reduced by 30% after 6 weeks consignment or at the end of season. This discount is shared between the Consigner & The Green Pear. Any other discount will be absorbed as a ‘Store’ discount & does not affect the consigner’s portion of the sale. Items over $500 will only be reduced after consultation with the consigner.

End of consignment - you will be notified via email when you current consignment period is finished, advised of any money to be transferred to you, and of any remaining pieces to be collected If unsold or faulty pieces are not collected within 2 weeks of our email, we will follow up with a reminder text. We will never donate your pieces without advising you via email & text. Items still not collected after the reminder will be donated without further correspondence.
